Scan to Email Canon Copiers

The following guide is intended for users who would like to use the scan to email function on the canon copiers. In the past users were generally setup with a remote folder which requires users to be on site in order to get their scanned documents. Scan to email is more flexible as it will sent to any email inbox. Emails will be sent from noreply@ymcahbb.ca for your reference.

 

Please ensure you are on the home screen to follow along with the instructions:

 

Step 1: Select the "Scan and Send" option

Step 2: Select "Address Book"

Step 3: Select "Register New Destination"

Step 4: Select "E-Mail":

Step 5: Enter the email you will be sending to. The name field should be a staff's first name and last name. Select OK when finished.

Step 6: Go back to the scan and send function. Highlight you name/email by selecting it on the screen and click the big green start button.
